Q. This obviously is a tough loss, but a great experience probably for you as a freshman, getting to play in a game like this so early in your career. Can you kind of talk a little bit about what that means and what getting a taste of this means for you in the future here at UNC?

CAITLYN WURZBURGER: I mean, obviously we did not get the result we wanted, but I think it just shows anyone can beat anyone on any given day. We played a great, great Boston College team, and we've gotten everyone's best game the entire year, so we always know going into a game to respect the other team. I think it just teaches me obviously I know it could be anyone and you've got to give it your all every game. I think we really gave it our all the whole game, but at the end of the day we have to execute.

Q. Katie Hoeg, this is the final game of her career. What has playing with her meant to you?

CAITLYN WURZBURGER: It's everything. I mean, you come into Carolina looking up to her, Ortega and Scottie, and it's hard losing that leader on the field that pursues me, tells me to go to goal, just gives me that confidence. But it's really been an honor playing beside her and just her teaching me the ways and teaching me poise. I'm sad our last game ended like that, but I'm really proud and just thankful that she was on my team and able to play with her.

Q. What's something from this season overall that you want to try and take into your next year wearing Carolina blue?

CAITLYN WURZBURGER: Just keep going, never stop the grind. Even if you think you're going out there enough, you're not. That is what this team has taught me. You always can do more to improve, you always can believe in your teammates. I think this team has taught me never stop believing, and I think the score shows itself, 10-11, we never stopped. Down a few goals we never stopped. I think I'm going to go into this next season never stopping.
