THE MODERATOR: Welcome to the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, Southern Hills Country Club, Tulsa, Oklahoma. We're joined by John Riegger. Tied for second place currently after posting a 2-under par 68. John, that's a really clean scorecard right there. You must feel good, you must be, I would guess you're striking the ball pretty well.

JOHN RIEGGER: Yeah, I played solid from tee to green all day. I had two times where I made good par saves, but other than that, all golfers always say I could have shot a lot lower, but I'm pretty happy, especially the way I was feeling the last hole, so.

THE MODERATOR: Still hit a good approach shot there. Maybe highlight one of the birdies that stuck out to you as you thought was well played by yourself.

JOHN RIEGGER: Probably on 17. I had a really good number there and hit a really good sand wedge in there from 105 yards to about four feet. It wasn't the easiest shot, just because the wind was gusting, had the ball below my feet and just the pin was tucked over that bunker, so that was a really nice shot.

THE MODERATOR: You must be happy to get things through, sign your scorecard, you can take it off, we'll see if the weather presents itself and kind of just kick your feet up, rest up and get out here later tomorrow.

JOHN RIEGGER: No, absolutely. It wasn't that easy, I was late in the morning, so the wind was blowing pretty good pretty much all day for me. So I thought the course played pretty tough, really.

THE MODERATOR: You feeling okay? We had a little delay there, but are you okay and no worse for the wear, come back out tomorrow?

JOHN RIEGGER: Yeah, I mean I knew it was going to be hot and humid here or was planning for it, so I've been hydrating before I got here and just coming up that last hole I started cramping real bad. I don't know, because I've been drinking plenty of fluids, Pedialyte, Gatorade, Liquid IV, been doing all the right things, but I still cramped coming up that last hole.
