THE MODERATOR: Open up with a brief recap of the game, and we'll have questions.

JACOB GONZALEZ: So Kevin Graham on our team started off with a huge home run and it gave us our lead, and Drew McDaniel kept shoving against them and kept them to zero runs. And we kept adding on and got to 4, and 4 was enough today, and our pitcher shut them down.

THE MODERATOR: Sorry about that noise there.

Q. What did you see in Drew today that allowed him to be more successful than he was at Georgia last week?

JACOB GONZALEZ: He just had a different confidence level today, I feel. He was pitching with some swagger, if you will. That's how he is successful. He just pitches like that. Just very confident and knowing no one's going to beat him. That's how he does it.

Q. Obviously, losing Gunnar was such a big deal, but the last two days with Derek and Drew doing what they've done, how big has that been and the confidence going into regionals?

JACOB GONZALEZ: It's very good for our team. They've showed the playoffs aren't too big for them, and that even if they've struggled, they aren't going to back down. They're going to keep pitching and just try to go out there and win.
