Q. Rowdey, last two showings in Hoover have not been very good for the Bulldogs. You got ten-run ruled in back-to-back games by a couple of teams you're competing against in these regional pairings. What's your reaction to the week?
ROWDEY JORDAN: Not good. That's all it is. We came here, didn't play well. That's the only thing we're taking from it is we didn't play -- it's embarrassing. Got run-ruled two games in a row, didn't play well. But at this point, it's behind us, and it's time to get back to start rolling, put our heads down and grind.
Q. So you guys didn't have a great showing the last couple times you came, but yet you wound up in Omaha. Can you use this as kind of motivation, a building block to maybe get hot for the postseason?
ROWDEY JORDAN: Yeah, for sure. That was one of the messages. You let the younger guys know, hey, we haven't performed well, and the last two times we've gone to Omaha. It's not the end of the world. You want to come and play better baseball, but at the end of the day, sometimes it doesn't go in your favor. That's what's happened the past two days.
Let the younger guys know, hey, we haven't performed here well, and the last two times we made Omaha. So we just let everyone know that what we want to accomplish is still in our sights.
