Q. Little different of a day. What were the conditions like and just the feel out there for you?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I mean, it played a bit longer. I mean, 10 and 11 in the morning in the cold when it's not rolling quite as much were kind of some tough holes to start on. They played a lot different.

Like yesterday I had an 8-iron into 11 and I had 5-hybrid today, so it was like big time. 1 even I had 60- degree yesterday and I had 7-iron today, because also 1 is into the wind today.

Q. Yeah.

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah. But, no, I mean, I just kind of had a three-hole stretch where I missed some putts, but other than that, it was -- didn't quite hit it as good today. Didn't have nearly as many birdie chances, but I hung in there.

Q. That's all that matters. The stretch was 2, 3, and 4.

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah.

Q. What kind of led to the --

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Oh, someone almost hit the flag.

Q. Yeah, wow. What kind of led to the difficulty there?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: I hit it in the left bunker on 2. Hit a really will good bunker shot to three feet and horseshoed back at me, and then three-putted from ten feet on 3.

And then hit my drive left on 4, and that pin was tucked left, and if you go left you're not in a good spot, and I went into like a bunker. I had one foot out of the bunker trying to go up, short-sided, and so not where you wanted to be.

Q. Is it safe to say the River Course is playing different than any year before?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: I mean, it's so different. It's crazy what not overseeding can do for this golf course. I guess it's the bermuda, right?

So the rough hasn't come up but it's so firm that it doesn't really matter that there is not really any rough. I really like it. I greens are firm and fast, as they always are. It's the other stuff that's way different.

Q. Afternoon of waiting, but I would imagine you should be okay, barring some crazy low numbers in the afternoon.

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah.

Q. What do you take from the first two days with a solid performance and a little shaky performance? What do you take from the two efforts into the weekend and try to accomplish?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, just try to hit the golf ball like I did yesterday and I'll be doing good.
