Q. A tough first-round match. Ironically you guys played last year. How happy are you to get through that?

FELIX AUGER-ALIASSIME: Really happy. Tough match always against him. I'm happy I was able to win today.

Q. You had chances to close it out in the second set and got pushed to a third. How were you able to overcome that adversity?

FELIX AUGER-ALIASSIME: You've got to believe and be resilient at times. You know, I wanted to win badly, so I dug deep and I found a way. So I'm happy I was able to find a way in the end with all the circumstances.
