Q. Here with Captain Wilson. Team went out and they put up a valiant effort this afternoon. Thoughts on the competition?

STUART WILSON: It's been a great weekend of golf. It's Walker Cup after all. The guys have come out fighting and tried to equip themselves as best they can. Unfortunately wasn't their weekend.

I think, yeah, been a lot of chatter. The guys have been hanging in well. I think looking at it from our perspective, we maybe let the Americans get away with a little but too much and a few slack shots here and there.

But hats to have to the USA team and Nathaniel for pulling the victory off.

Q. Is there anything you would've done differently heading into the afternoon session after seeing how it turned out?

STUART WILSON: Absolutely not. No, yeah, we stuck with pretty similar pins this morning, the morning session, which was part of the plan, and then we tried to kind of go with a team that was kind of heavily loaded at the top, and atone point if you took the scores away they were actually going to edge slightly ahead with a few matches to go.

As we all know, it's match play golf and here little conditions, they things can change pretty quick.
