Q. Man, you were sweating it out there coming down the stretch and you joked with us before we went on camera, it is so stressful out here. What is it like inside for those of us who are watching from outside the ropes?

PIERCESON COODY: I mean, it's blowing 15 miles an hour on greens that are 14 plus. Just getting the ball in the hole from outside two feet feels like a challenge. The round goes by slow and you've got to hit a lot of good shots to just keep the match going and hopefully pull it out.

Q. We were talking to a couple other guys on the team and they were saying if you go out early and put a little pressure on this GB&I team, it could end the day relatively quickly. When you saw where you were in the lineup, what were you thinking?

PIERCESON COODY: I knew what my job was, and they put me out early to it get the singles point yesterday. I've been playing well for a long time and I was confident that I would get it done today.
