Quick Quotes
Q. How much did this Sunday kind of feel like that major Sunday?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: A little bit. You know, I feel like I handled everything pretty well. Just didn't hit it great today. I grinded back to shoot 2-under par again.
I mean, I played eight rounds in Asia and I shoot under par all of them. I'm still pretty proud of myself.
Q. You should be. When you look back at the quick trip to L.A., how important was that rest for your?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: You mean back to Orlando?
Q. Yes, Orlando, sorry.
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: It meant a lot. I needed to get out of L.A. and go home for a few days, see my coach, see my boyfriend and his family, and just all my friends.
Just being here I feel like it takes a lot. Basically self-quarantine for two weeks and then it's a lot going on. I just feel like going back I made the right decision, even though it stressed a lot of people out.
Q. How satisfied are you with your two weeks here in Asia?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: It was worth the trip. It was worth the time. It was worth everything. I'm just really glad I'm back here and played great, too.
Q. What is your tournament schedule looking like?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: As of right now, match play.
Q. And will you play Olympic before the U.S. Women's Open?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I don't know yet. Maybe. Maybe I'll make a trip out.
Q. So you'll have a couple weeks off. What do you plan to do with your rest?
PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Just not too much golf. If anything, practice a little bit. I feel like I need to clean some stuff out. This weekend hasn't been good. If anything, just want to get my physical strength back up, too.
