Q. Just take us through the day.

JESSICA KORDA: Really frustrating, really couldn't get anything going. I was hitting it really good and then just it wasn't happening for me for some reason.

Just kept getting screwed and the wind kept dropping and then coming back up and we were -- we just -- it just wasn't happening. I don't know. I couldn't make anything happen today. I tried. I tried to force a couple birdies, and, you know, if -- I had a great little 8-iron into the par-5 15 and takes the biggest bounce I've ever seen and goes over the green.

You know, can't put that on there, but shit happens.

Q. How challenging was that? I ventured out a little bit and it seems to be here, there, everywhere.

JESSICA KORDA: Yeah, kept rotating and dropping and then it was up top but it wasn't down low.

We just didn't guess right, and that's what it is. Sometimes you just need that timing, and like I said it's really hard to win out here and a lot of it is luck, and I just didn't have a whole lot of it today.

Q. Just how pleased are you with your overall effort at a pretty tough golf course?

JESSICA KORDA: Awesome. I'm really glad that I was able to make birdie on 18, get myself out of the tie for second. So at least solo, and there is a really a lot of positives to take out of this week, and that's exactly what I'm going to do.
