Q. Inbee, what a great round here at Wilshire. How do you feel after round one?

INBEE PARK: Yeah, the greens are definitely the defense of this golf course. It is tough putting on these greens.

Probably missed a lot of putts today, but I feel like I played great overall. I holed great -- two great par putts but missed a lot of opportunities as well.

So I think it's -- I mean, it's not a bad first day of putting in poana greens.

Q. Just going off that, what do you think is the strategy this week other than just the speed of the greens? How tricky is it out there?

INBEE PARK: Yeah, the greens are just really tricky. I mean, like some putts are really quick, some really slow. It's very slopey, so just don't know which way it's going to break, how much it's going to break. It's very tough.

I think nobody is going to really have a great putting week this week. I mean, it's poana greens and it's quite quick on the downhill putts, so I think we just got to watch out for the speed of the putts and try to hit it close as you can.

Q. When you play a difficult course like this, is there a particular strategy you think of?

INBEE PARK: I always think that I just -- not go too aggressive at putts. Even if you feel like you're going to hole this one, even if it's like a 10-footer or 15-footer that you're really confident with, just don't go at it.

I think I just kind of hit it with a good speed and -- hit with good speed and good break, so even if I miss it I kind of -- so I can tap-in.

Q. Any goals for you? To go back to world ranking No. 1 or Olympics, anything you're really looking forward to this year?

INBEE PARK: You know what, I'm really looking forward to if I get to play the Olympics. I'm really looking forward to play in the Olympics. Other than that I think I'm just trying to -- ultimate goal is to play really good golf, and I think that's really going to do all the work.

Q. Last question is: We are so close to Korean Town and a lot of players have been raving about the food. Is there anything special about. L.A. that feels like home?

INBEE PARK: Well, I think, yeah, I think you look at the app and see all the deliveries and you feel like you're in Seoul. So I think I'm not going to be short of food this week. A lot of delicious food around here.
