Q. You've had a chance to see TPC Louisiana nine holes what are your first impressions?

MATTHEW WOLFF: I didn't really knew what to expect. I knew Louisiana was a bunch of swamp and that's kind of a characteristic of the course. But I thought it was a good golf course, I mean I didn't know what to expect and I didn't hear much about it before I've been here and first hole's pretty straightforward, but then there's a little bit of trouble out there and I thought it was, I thought it's a great golf course. I mean, I definitely see that you can take it apart and if you're playing good you can take it deep. But I mean there's quite a bit of trouble out there and you definitely have to hit good shots and if not you're going to get penalized. But I think that's what makes a great golf course.

Q. You came off the course last week with a Pete Dye influence. What's your impression here of TPC Louisiana?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: I love it. You have some small greens out there, some subtle undulations on the side of the greens, some runoffs, like you see right here on 9, and overall like you got to be able to control your ball. If you put yourself in some grainy spots, it's a little wet out here from, I guess they had a lot of rain last week, you're going to have some tough chips. And in alternate shot you don't really want to give yourself or your partner that. But there's a lot of gettable holes and I think that's what makes this week really fun is that it's a different format, it's a team format, so it should be really fun the two of us going out there trying our best.

Q. You guys were one of the first teams if not the first to commit to this tournament last year before it was cancelled and everyone was excited to see you guys team up and play. What's the anticipation been like now that we're finally here a year and a bit later?

MATTHEW WOLFF: Yeah, I mean I think it's been a long time in the making and when Collin came to me and asked me if I wanted to play on the team I immediately said, yes. I was like, That sounds amazing, and I've been playing with him for so long and you kind of just have to soak it in a little bit. We have been playing high school golf and AJGA and junior golf and college golf together and now we're at the biggest stage and it's pretty cool to be a teammate with someone you have known for a long time and it's going to be a lot of fun.

Q. Anything to add?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: No, Matt's an awesome guy, we feed off each other's energy, you guys have seen it, when we have played with each other, we have had a few groupings. Obviously 3M we played both really well at the end, Matt making eagle on the last hole. But I think that's what's great, you got to have good chemistry out here and I think we really do.

Q. Speaking of that, you guys you've both become winners on TOUR since playing at college level, a lot of team events in college, looking forward to playing as a team must be good. Has life changed for you guys it's been less than two years since college so is it still a little surreal for you?

MATTHEW WOLFF: Not much has changed. (Laughing) Homework every night.

COLLIN MORIKAWA: Not at all. Like you're going and talking to your coaches every day.

No, I think we have enjoyed it as much as we could and you have to do that, when you come out here it's pretty lonely and we're coming out just right out of college, Matt only going for a couple years, but we believed in ourselves that we could come out here and do it and obviously we proved ourselves and for now these are still opportunities, this is a team event that we can kind of enjoy, kind of -- we're not staying relaxed, we want to win, we are here to win, but we can just kind of enjoy it and watch each other really play well and we're rooting for each other to play well and I think that's what's going to kind of push us over the edge to hopefully finish over the rest of this season on a good note.

Q. You mentioned lonely and that's a pretty unusual word to use. It is a selfish game and we play by ourselves and now we're in a team event. How much do you think, particularly you, Matt, how can you rely on Collin and maybe get his support this week and how important will that be for you playing this week?

MATTHEW WOLFF: Yeah, I don't think there's any like relying or looking for support, I think that that's one of the great things that we have is there's much more team chemistry with between us than -- I mean not everyone because I'm sure these people have known each other for a long time, but we have that aspect as well that we have, I think we're very comfortable, we're not stepping up over a shot and being like, oh, I don't want to miss the green or I don't want to hit it in the water because of my teammate, I don't think that we put anymore pressure on each other than the pressure that we already put on ourselves to hit that shot and I think that's, it's extremely important because at high-pressure situations or coming down the stretch you're not, even though it is a, this tournament or this week is a team game, I think that we both know that if we take care of ourself and our games and we play like we know how to play, combined, I mean it's going to be even better.

Q. You're a bomber, what do you like about each other's games the best and what would you like to have about each other's games that you don't possess maybe?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: I wish I could carry it 320. Hit it high. We were talking about it earlier today, he hits the ball plenty far, one of the farthest on TOUR and just how high he hits his irons, it's helpful when it's firm greens, he's shown it in majors, like it's beneficial. So I would for sure want to have that added as well.

MATTHEW WOLFF: Yeah, there's, I really don't have a thing a bad thing to say about Collin's game, I mean only good. He's a really good driver of the golf ball, he definitely, I wouldn't say he's long out here, but I wouldn't say he's short, I wouldn't say it's a disadvantage that he doesn't hit it as far as anyone else. And he's proven time and time again that his iron play is world class, at least top-10 in the world if not one of the best. And I just think that it would be really awesome to just -- I think one thing about his game is he doesn't really -- he always know his ball's going and he doesn't really lose too many balls and obviously I have a lot of distance but with distance minimal error comes into play and carrying the ball farther brings in more trouble and stuff. So it would be nice to not have to worry about that. But I think that we're both playing really well right now and we're excited to go out there and enjoy it but also compete and have fun.

Q. Finally, we're in New Orleans I know you're a foodie Collin, it's got to be a place that you're looking forward to exploring a little bit?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: Yeah, I'm already gaining some weight. It's been -- yeah, it's been over a year now that this was on the schedule. I'm a Zurich guy, it's going to be a great event, they host a great event. But everything you hear from everyone it's all about the food. Yeah, I'm here to play golf with Matt, we are here to win, but second right up to it is the food and staying in downtown we're going to have some really good dinners this week.

Q. Great music too. Do you think you'll get down Bourbon Street and listen to some of the buskers maybe?

MATTHEW WOLFF: I don't know about Bourbon Street, it's kind of dangerous.

COLLIN MORIKAWA: I heard some stories from past players.

MATTHEW WOLFF: Once you go there, it's hard to leave. But I'm sure we'll make our way down there eventually.
