SHANE LOWRY: Pretty happy. I think we definitely looked to have got the worst side of the draw. It was pumping yesterday afternoon and this morning it was pretty windy early on. Looks like it's supposed to drop this afternoon.

So I knew I needed to go out there and shoot a decent number if I was going to put myself up there for the weekend, so nice to go out and do it. Holed a few putts, played some nice golf.

Q. Eagle on No. 2. Take me through that.

SHANE LOWRY: Yeah, that got me going. Hit a nice drive down there and hit 8-iron to about six feet and holed that. I made a bad bogey -- hit a bad tee shot on the next and made a bad bogey, and then i hit it close pretty a couple time after that.

You know, wasn't anything outrageous. It was just some good golf and I cleaned up my putts nicely. Yeah, it was nice.
