THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. You're such a good player on the clay. Did something not work the way you wanted today?

DIEGO SCHWARTZMAN: Yeah, obviously I like to play on clay. I think it's my best surface. I did very good the last few years.

The conditions here, I mean, last week and these few days, are not the best for my game on clay. It's very, very cold. The conditions are not the same that the ball it's working on court. It's really, really fast ball. It's a small ball. It's not taking the humidity. The conditions, today was raining a little bit at the beginning of the match.

Obviously if the ball and the conditions are slow, I really like to play. I really like to slide on clay, play long points. You could see today was a very cold day, raining a little bit. In the match we didn't have long points. Everything was really fast.

It's weird. Since the beginning I arrive, it's sad, but I didn't feel really good playing in the practice. I think the match was no difference than the days before.

Q. What do you think suited Casper? What was good for him? Was it better conditions for his game?

DIEGO SCHWARTZMAN: I mean, I'm not sure. About the conditions, I can talk how I felt on court. But Casper, he's a very good player. He's playing every single year better and better. Obviously if you are not playing good tennis, he is going to take the chances. He did better than me, for sure.
