Q. What's the difference between the conditions yesterday and today for you?

BERND WIESBERGER: Yesterday was, obviously, bright blue skies, sunny, warm, windy, so the greens in the afternoon when we played got quite crusty. You had to adjust to that, and some of the flags were really tough to get to, if not impossible.

So today with a little bit of overcast, it feels like stay a little bit softer. Though they're still bouncy, but just a little bit more give. But it wasn't -- that wasn't the main reason. I just really putted well today on the first ten holes and holed a lot of putts, and that kind of got a really good round started.

Q. Had a bit of fun on 15 today compared to yesterday?

BERND WIESBERGER: Yeah. I guess it's got to happen to all of us eventually, and it was my moment yesterday. Yeah, I just got a little bit too excited on the putt to have a chance for eagle. It got a little low, and it went -- I did reset nicely, a good shot into 16. After that, I birdied 17. So fortunately, we were able to bounce back from that.

Q. Did you think there was any possibility when you were standing over that ball or looking at that putt that, if you didn't hit it right, that it could go in the water?

BERND WIESBERGER: Yeah, Carlos had a pitch from the back of the green. I'm pretty sure Jordan's ball would have been in the water if it doesn't hit the hole. It's not impossible from either behind the green chipping back there or putting.

It was very glassy out there, get the wrong gust of wind maybe, and it was a little low on my line, yeah.

Q. When you call back to Austria, what will you tell the family about today's round?

BERND WIESBERGER: I'm quite sorry they're not here this year, obviously. Normally -- well, they weren't here in November, but they've always been here. They've been a good support out here. I'm sure they've been watching. I'm sure they've been excited today with my best ever round here at Augusta.

So I'm looking forward to talk to them later and have a nice celebratorial glass of wine maybe.

Q. How do you feel about the position you put yourself in going into the weekend?

BERND WIESBERGER: Good. I've been playing really solid golf yesterday and today, obviously. Just today I kept the mistakes off the card. The one blemish was a perfect iron shot just flew three yards too far.
