MIKE TIRICO: Thank you and welcome inside Butler Cabin. We are joined by the champion, congratulations, Tsubasa Kajitani and her translator, thank you both, and the chairman of Augusta National Golf Club, Mr. Fred Ridley.

Mr. Chairman, what an on core to 2019. We had so much excitement and so much unknown of what we were going to experience the first time around. It was so great to see a wonderful day finish in a playoff here on 18.

CHAIRMAN FRED RIDLEY: Thank you, Mike. It was a wonderful week. The golf course was in spectacular condition today. The 30 finalists showed why they are the best women am you're golfers in the world.

MIKE TIRICO: Absolutely without question. What a great point because it is global; to have a champion here from Japan, Tsubasa Kajitani and we are so thrilled to have you here, and I know Chairman Ridley, I know you want to say congratulations to our winner of the second annual Augusta National Women's Amateur.

CHAIRMAN FRED RIDLEY: You showed a lot of heart, a great up-and-down on 18 after making that double on 17 and coming back on the 18th hole again in the playoff and a very difficult two-putt which you handled very well, what was going through your mind on that final putt when you saw it drop?

TSUBASA KAJITANI: I had to think and concentrate on that putt. I made a lot of putts this week and I was confident and I had to make it and then I made it for that.

MIKE TIRICO: It was a great putt and a great victory. One question for you: Growing up, what did you know of Augusta National, and how exciting was it to be here and compete at this golf course?

TSUBASA KAJITANI: I wasn't really expecting to win the tournament, but now I'm here and I realize that I won the tournament. I'm really happy to be here.

MIKE TIRICO: Undoubtedly it inspired many young women and golfers of all ages in Japan.

And Chairman Ridley, I know we have a presentation for our newest champion here at Augusta National.

CHAIRMAN FRED RIDLEY: Tsubasa, it's a real honor to present you with this beautiful trophy as the winner of the 2021 Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship. You're now a part of Augusta National history. Congratulations.
