Quick Quotes
Q. Talk about your round today.
PAULA SCHULZ-HANSSEN: Well, I didn't play a birdie, so that was kind of hard. I mean, bogeys happen on that course, but it's just like difficult to get your score together without playing any birdies. Honestly, I didn't even have a lot of chances for a birdie, so that was kind of my problem.
Q. So describe the different challenge of that today.
PAULA SCHULZ-HANSSEN: Well, first of all, it was windy, for me, especially in the middle, and then I think the pin positions were pretty tough today, so I made a few bad misses, and that's when it's kind of nearly impossible to play the par.
Q. What did you learn from your round?
PAULA SCHULZ-HANSSEN: I learned that I have to trust myself a little more because I had a lot of shots I could actually do, but I was just not that self-confident to actually do them, yeah.
Q. What's it like to play after time away during the pandemic?
PAULA SCHULZ-HANSSEN: It was great. I had so much fun, especially on the first holes, because it's so different to play in a tournament or to play like in a practice round, and I really enjoyed it today.
Q. Was the course harder than you expected?
PAULA SCHULZ-HANSSEN: Well, I kind of expected it yesterday, but especially with the pin positions, it was a little tougher than I thought, yes.
Q. And how was last night?
PAULA SCHULZ-HANSSEN: It was amazing. It was so crazy. Just like walking into that Clubhouse and driving to the Clubhouse, it was great, yes.
