Q. What were your preparations and did they differ from the previous tournament?

LINN GRANT: No, I think they were pretty much the same as my regular tournaments. I just came in from my week playing at home. Right now, I'm just trying to find my motion and find my speed in my swing and really get the shots going.

Q. What are your impressions of the course?

LINN GRANT: I like it. It's tough. It has a U.S. Open feeling to it. It will for sure put the best player on the top and the ones that struggle on the bottom. So I feel like if you have a bad round, it will hurt.

Q. You're one of the top-ranked amateurs in the field. What are your expectations?

LINN GRANT: I mean, I expect myself to play good. I'm here to try to win and I really want to be in contention for the last day and really give it my best shot.

Q. Do you feel like you have an advantage since you've played this tournament before?

LINN GRANT: Not too much. I think the course is so tough. I mean, a little bit. We're just walking it today and there were some spots that we said that this was where we wanted to be and this is not where we wanted to be. I feel playing it last time, I know those places a little bit more, but not too much.

Q. And I know last year, you got to drive up Magnolia Lane, but talk about that.

LINN GRANT: I think it's nice that they arranged a pretty cool dinner and just to go out there before anyone else is there is really nice and kind of experience it with everyone else is also a special thing.
