Quick Quotes
Q. What are your first impressions of the course?
PAULA KIRNER: I played the first time here five weeks ago and it was awesome. So actually five weeks ago, we started on 10 and the second nine holes are a little more tricky than the first nine holes. So I was a little scared, I have to say. But then there are also a lot of good chances, like a lot of par 5s you can reach and a lot of par 4s you can, like, start with a good feeling, if I can put it in that way. So I think it's a fair course.
Q. Where are the difficulties?
PAULA KIRNER: I think on the green. You have to hit it into the right position to go off the hole, like with a par or something. So you have to plan it right and you have to be really careful with some pin positions, I guess. So let's say, for example, the par 3, I think it's hole 2, or hole 11, that's quite tough with the pin position and the false front areas.
Q. What's your approach for tomorrow's round?
PAULA KIRNER: I guess having fun, being focused and do my best, and that's all I can do and then control the controllables and go for it.
Q. Describe your preparations.
PAULA KIRNER: A little bit of everything. Fixing some things in the swing and trying to be ready to hit a cut and a draw because I think that's something you need on the course, and then have a good feeling on the putting green and then I think I'm ready to go.
Q. What are your feelings about tonight driving up Magnolia Lane?
PAULA KIRNER: I'm really, really excited about that. I guess that's one of the best parts of the tournament. I don't know, I was really concentrated today on the round but it was always the thought, okay, tonight is going to be pretty cool. I'm really looking forward to it.
