THE MODERATOR: Questions.
Q. AJ, now that the season is over, take me through some of the emotions you're feeling right now.
AJ LAWSON: Yeah, just emotional, just sad.
Q. AJ, what can you take from this season? What is the biggest thing through the ups and downs and everything you went through, what did you basically learn for this season?
AJ LAWSON: I think it was how to be a survivor. This whole pandemic was crazy, playing with COVID. Not with COVID, but playing through a COVID season is hard. My team, we fought through it. We gave it our best.
Q. When did you learn you guys were going to be without Jermaine and Keyshawn and Seventh? Without those three guys, how did it affect the way you were able to play?
AJ LAWSON: Obviously we missed those guys. A big part of our team. Yeah, we just missed them. Big part of our team. That's it.
Q. What did you think about the fight you showed tonight?
AJ LAWSON: We were shorthanded, but we tried to fight. Kept fighting, kept pushing. Things didn't really go our way. We were knocking down shots. Our team went hard, but we just couldn't come up with the victory. But we fought, though.
Q. Looking forward, you had your fair share of struggles this year. Do you think the issues that you faced, the problems you had, are fixable going into next season? Are they easy fixes for you guys?
AJ LAWSON: They're definitely fixable. Just have to buy in, pay attention to details, listen to coach. I think there can be easy fixes. Need time and consistent practice.
THE MODERATOR: Thank you.
