Q. Maddy, why don't you tell us about the game and how the team performed tonight.

MADDY WESTBELD: We didn't execute in the fourth quarter. It's kind of a recurring thing. That's something that we have to get better at. We just didn't close it out.

Q. Can you talk to us a little bit about the team's performance today and what you thought went well for the team?

MADDY WESTBELD: Yeah, when we went wrong then we weren't thinking, we were just playing basketball and having fun. I think on offense when we got out and ran, I don't know, we were sharing the ball really well and getting open looks and we weren't thinking.

I think that's a huge thing for us that we need to keep continuing to do, especially in the fourth quarter.

Q. Not only were you guys not scoring in the fourth quarter, turnovers continued to be an issue. I know Sunday it was an issue, as well. Why couldn't you guys hold on to the ball as much as you needed to?

MADDY WESTBELD: Again, I think we just -- we think too much, and in the fourth quarter we try not to turn the ball over, and in our heads we're thinking, Don't turn the ball over. I think that's conscious in our mind. We just overthink.

On defense we've got to get a stop, we have got to get boards. I gave up a lot of offensive rebounds in the fourth quarter and that was huge. That's definitely what helped them get back.

Q. Through the fourth quarter, you were nine of nine, finished with 21 points. Positive note on how the game ended?

MADDY WESTBELD: I think until about five minutes in the fourth quarter, I think we were playing really, really good basketball. Liv helped us a lot. Just with the way she can handle the ball and how she sees the floor she really contributes amazing to the offense.

I think she makes everybody better. I think that up until the fourth quarter we definitely played great.

Q. Do you think you guys have done enough to make it into the NCAA Tournament?

MADDY WESTBELD: I don't know. I don't know how any of those stats or any of that works.

Q. You're 10-10 in a powerful league. You've said that was the goal. I guess it's going to be 11 days that you wait to find out. Is that going to be a little demanding for you?

MADDY WESTBELD: I mean, yeah. Waiting 11 days, it'll be tough.
