THE MODERATOR: We are joined by Myah Taylor. We'll open it up for questions.
Q. We talked to you after a couple tough losses this year. At this point what has the season been like? Heading into the tournament, likely still looking like you can get into the tournament, what are you able to do? What do you have to do maybe in this next little bit of time off?
MYAH TAYLOR: I think we just need to correct a lot of things that happened in the game. I mean, we did some good things, but we also put them at the line too many times. I think Coach said 26 times. We weren't really disciplined with that.
Like I said, I guess we just have to watch the film, look at what we improved on, then also try to fix the things we didn't do well.
Q. This season has been a tough one with maybe a few more losses than you would have expected. At this point in the season, how can you sum up what this year has been like? How has it maybe been difficult as one of the leaders on this team?
MYAH TAYLOR: It definitely had its ups and downs. I definitely take the ups with my team. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Go out, play hard every day. Yeah...
Q. We saw you in the third quarter go up to JaMya. I know it was heated there for a little bit with her and Khayla Pointer. You took the leadership role with her. How have you felt like you've grown in that role, being the voice of this team, the person that the players turn to in situations like that?
MYAH TAYLOR: Right, I just try to be the one the team needs, the one that the team counts on to lead them, just to be the one that calms them down in those type of situations, just to remind them it's not about them, it's about us. Just to stay within the team, stay within us at that moment.
I tried to take the attention away from that. I told her just to focus on the team, this game, just trying to come back because we were down at that time.
Q. Where would you say the attitude and the confidence and all that is with the team right now? Where do you feel like the team is right now heading into possible post-season?
MYAH TAYLOR: We just came off a loss. We just came off a loss, so of course everybody is a little emotional right now. Just have to move on. Just have to move on and get better.
THE MODERATOR: Thank you so much for joining us today. We appreciate it.
