July 28, 2019
Evian-les-Bains, France
Q. Great way to finish off a great week for you. Sum up the round and the tough conditions and your week as well.
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: You know, today is really tough. Especially I feel like hit it really short so I have to have longer iron to the green.
Last hole have eagle, so feel much better.
Q. Thoughts as well on returning go Woburn next week where you won your first major in 2016. Does that fill you with excitement?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Really looking forward for the week, especially that course. I just love to be back there.
Q. The Marquess Course as well. Must be looking forward to ripping it up.
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Yeah.
Q. What part of your game came together for you today?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Today just need to be patient because like the weather, and we going to basically hit everything like shorter than normal.
But today I feel much better because my tee shot getting much better, even I miss a lot of putt. It's really tough out there.
Q. Yeah. Would you say that it was the rain that made it a tough course?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I will say yes, because like basically you hit everything so short. But at the same time, you pretty lucky because you can stop the ball pretty quick, too. Even you need to have longer iron, but still have something good. You can stop the ball quicker.
Q. Do you feel good about the commitment you made today?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Yes, I feel great. Because really in contention, getting better, so normally I'm going to focus on the outcome.
Right now I'm getting much better, so I'm not worry about that anymore.
Q. Great. Confidence going into next week?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Feel much better. You know, it's different tournament, different year. I know the same course I won before, but I feel much better right now.
