January 17, 2019
Lake Buena Vista, Florida
Q. Good to get the year started. Pretty solid number the first round.
MI HYANG LEE: First of all, I'm really honored to play with -- because I love baseball, but I heard they are legends on the Boston Red Sox maybe, so it was really an honor to play with them.
Yeah, I work on my -- changed a little bit with my swing with my coach. It wasn't good at the practice round. My ball was going all the way -- I mean, most of the time it's going to miss the right, but it was a little better yesterday and keep it better today also. So I had a little birdie chance, but I didn't make any later birdies, only the four birdies. So I have to work on my putting a little bit. Yeah, I just want to keep it going.
So this is only the first event, so I want to get any feedback from my practice or to start the season. Just it was a good time with them.
Q. So you changed your swing during the off-season?
MI HYANG LEE: Yeah, off-season, in December, yeah.
Q. And what's your coach's name?
MI HYANG LEE: Cameron McCormick.
Q. So who's your favorite baseball team if you're a big baseball fan?
MI HYANG LEE: Actually, I grew up in Korea, so I'm really a big fan of SK Wyverns in Korea, that is my team. They won last year, so it was really fun. Right now maybe I'm a big fan of --
Q. Red Sox, Wakefield?
MI HYANG LEE: Wakefield, yes. And maybe I will be cheering for the Red Sox. And now I live in Dallas, Texas, also. So I should be cheering for them also.
Q. Rangers?
MI HYANG LEE: Rangers, yes.
Q. What was the team you liked back home?
MI HYANG LEE: SK Wyverns.
Q. And they're in the Korean league?
MI HYANG LEE: Korean league. And they won last year, don't forget it.
Q. So it was pretty cool to play with these guys then?
MI HYANG LEE: Yes, I love baseball. So I Google it when I see the pairings, and then both is baseball players, they were. So it was cool. It was really cool.
