Going into this match, you had an undefeated record against Kristina on hard court. How do you feel you played today? What were some tactics coming into today? ANGELIQUE KERBER: You know, I was just trying, yeah, to play a good first round, to going out there. I know that we played few times actually. It is a completely new day. It's a new tournament. My focus was more on my tennis and trying to playing good. It's great to play a good match and being in the next round. Q. What is your state of mind for this last part of the season? How fresh or not are you right now? ANGELIQUE KERBER: I mean, yeah, there are just few tournaments left. For me it's just important to looking now from day to day and trying to put everything I have left for every single match. Of course, yeah, the last tournament is then Singapore. But right now I just focusing here to playing as good as I can in Beijing. Q. What do you enjoy most about being back here in Beijing? ANGELIQUE KERBER: You can do a lot of things here, especially in this city. You can sight-seeing a little bit. To be honest, I saw few things already. It's my ninth time in Beijing. It's always nice to see this side of the world. It's a little bit different than Europe. It's always great to coming back to China. Also the fans, they are here. It's quite interesting every time to coming back. Q. In today's match you had quite a few fans in the upper deck cheering for you. Are most of your receptions like that? Does it help your game mentally? ANGELIQUE KERBER: It's always nice if you have fans like this which is supporting you from the first point until the last one, cheering for you.
