Brescia, Italy
Q. You did everything you could on the final day, another very solid round of golf but just coming up a little bit short in terms of winning the tournament?
RAFA CABRERA-BELLO: Exactly. I tried. I got off to a good start with birdie on 1. Played good. Didn't drive it as good as yesterday, but I still managed to give myself plenty of opportunities. Never quite felt fully comfortable on the greens, but I've been chasing all day, and I was hoping for a birdie try on 18. I just tried to put 20 in the clubhouse. I felt that could have a chance and unfortunately it didn't happen and I bogeyed but overall a very, very good week.
Q. Did you have a target when you set out this morning?
RAFA CABRERA-BELLO: Not really, I didn't have a target or a number. As the day developed coming into the two par 5s when I checked at -- I don't know what time I checked the scoreboard, I saw 18-under was leading. I got the feeling that 20 could be a good number.
Yeah, I was 16 or 17 and tried to get there but just falling a bit short.
Q. You have the defence of your title in the Rolex Series coming up soon, so is it nice to be hitting good form going into these big events now as we approach the busy part of the summer?
RAFA CABRERA-BELLO: Yes, obviously two good weeks. Even actually when I played THE PLAYERS, I thought I played good, as well. Just good to get some Top-10s and yeah, exciting to feel the game is pretty decent coming into the summer.
Q. And a Ryder Cup year, after making your debut in 2016, I'm sure you're hungry to be part of that team?
RAFA CABRERA-BELLO: It was a huge honour and I enjoyed that week very much. Of course it's one of my goal, but it's a tough one because everyone seems to be playing very good and everyone seems to be very keen. I will try my best and I hope that is enough to get me there.
