July 6, 2017
Portstewart, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland
Q. When you stood on the first tee this afternoon, did you think you would be walking off and signing for a 64?
BENJAMIN HEBERT: Definitely not, because the last round that I did wasn't very good. But I practiced a bit actually last week in France, and I find some keys I think with my coach. It worked quite well today, so yeah, I'm very happy.
Q. Four birdies in a row, and that putt on 18 was only just a few inches short and so it could have been even better.
BENJAMIN HEBERT: Sure, but I holed some ones very important, also, the four birdies in a row, a few long putts. It's okay. I played very good. Only missed one green, no bogey, it's still good. We've been a bit lucky I think also with the condition, the wind at the end. So it was just perfect today. We'll see tomorrow.
Q. You tied eighth in Sweden. Was it a little bit disappointing you haven't been able to sort of move on positively from there?
BENJAMIN HEBERT: I played in the last group on Sunday. The shape of my game at this time wasn't so good, so I was a bit disappointed, of course, but also happy, because I played very bad on the last day and tried to keep a good score and a good finish. And eight wasn't so bad.
Q. Early start tomorrow, so the greens will be nice and fresh. So looking forward to more of the same?
BENJAMIN HEBERT: Yeah, sure. The greens wasn't so hard today because it's quite firm as a links. So yeah, tomorrow it's another day. Just a good rest tonight, good food and see what happens tomorrow with the condition.
