February 22, 2017
Chonburi, Thailand
THE MODERATOR: Back at home in Thailand. What does this event mean to you?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: You know, I always really excited to come back here again, and really looking forward to the tournament.
It's mean a lot playing in front of all the fans in Thailand that come and support us.
THE MODERATOR: Do you show any of the other girls around? Anything special you do this week for the event?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Nothing.
THE MODERATOR: You're coming off such a great season. What do you take from last year that you're going to use in 2017?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I actually got a lot more confident from last year. I'm not going to compare myself to last year. Just going to play my game and try to have fun more than last year.
THE MODERATOR: So no new goals for 2017? Do you have anything planned?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Not right now. I just want to have fun and worry about my game on the course.
THE MODERATOR: You've played in this event pretty much your whole career. How have you seen it grow over the years?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I think it's growing up a lot. Since like I play (indiscernible) everything is always to me look better. We got more like kids start play golf from this tournament because they we got inspired from all the golfer here, which is great for Thailand.
THE MODERATOR: Does this event have a major feel for you?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Of course. Even more major because I think this week is really special for me.
