THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. You had a great start of season: 26 victories, 1 loss. How are your sensations here in Rome?
VICTORIA AZARENKA: What? Sensation?
Q. Your feelings in Rome.
VICTORIA AZARENKA: I'm looking forward to play. I am just taking it really day by day and try to prepare as best as possible after Madrid.
We'll see what happens. I'm always looking forward to play here.
Q. First of all, how is your back now?
VICTORIA AZARENKA: It's getting better, day by day. I still have couple days before my first match, so I'm hoping to be ready.
Q. I know that you like football, as well, soccer, and you are a fan of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
VICTORIA AZARENKA: Yes.
Q. Do you think he is a character that can inspire many other sportsmen or sportswomen?
VICTORIA AZARENKA: Oh, I think he has in his own career, definitely, a lot of people, you know, where he's from definitely have been inspired and been playing very well for the national team. So I definitely think that he's a role model for a lot of people.
Q. Good morning. What do you think about Roberta Vinci? You could meet her in the quarterfinals.
VICTORIA AZARENKA: I don't talk about draws. I don't know.
Q. You were semifinalist here seven years ago, 2009.
VICTORIA AZARENKA: Was it? I don't remember.
Q. What do you remember of that tournament?
VICTORIA AZARENKA: Well, if I don't remember that result...
Q. You lost to Kuznetsova.
VICTORIA AZARENKA: Oh, okay. I think it's always a difficult field, that I had some good results here. I have never won here so would love to definitely do that at some point.
It's a great tournament. It's always strong, a strong competition. It's a great preparation as well for the French Open.
