Q. Can you talk a bit about your experience out there today on the big stage against someone you have said is your hero.
HYEON CHUNG: Yeah, today I was great honor to play with Novak. He's No. 1 in the world. He's my idol. It was good experience to play with him.
I'm just trying to fight every point, because too tough to win one games. Great experience. Great test to start season.
Q. What did you find the hardest thing about it?
HYEON CHUNG: He has no missing easy ball. He is fast. His ball is heavy. Everything is good for me.
Q. Do you feel more motivated now? Do you think you can close the gap as time goes by?
HYEON CHUNG: Sorry.
Q. After your effort today, do you feel like you can improve a great deal, and are you provided with more motivation to try harder?
HYEON CHUNG: Yeah, I'm trying to working hard and motivate everything.
Q. How did you feel when you saw the draw against Novak first round, first match?
HYEON CHUNG: Little bit happy. Little bit nervous. Everything come together.

HYEON CHUNG: Happy little bit. Little bit nervous. Little bit scared, because main stadium. Coming all together.
Q. What are your goals for the rest of the year?
HYEON CHUNG: This year?
Q. Yes.
HYEON CHUNG: I don't have a goal for ranking. I just have goal this year for Olympics, for country, for everything. Is four years, one time. That's why.
Q. How does it compare representing your country and representing yourself?
HYEON CHUNG: Not different, but just change more fight and fighter, I think.
Q. You played against Stan at the US Open.
HYEON CHUNG: Yeah.
Q. You're used to the big experience. Can you compare the matches?
HYEON CHUNG: Little bit different feeling because he's No. 1 in the world, so... But is good experience today.
Q. Did you sleep last night or were you too excited?
HYEON CHUNG: Yeah, I sleep very well last night. But before wake up, 30 minutes, I don't know why so much nervous. I eat breakfast, when I warming up before the match, I don't know, I can't eat anything because nervous.
Q. Your English is better than last year. Did you study?
HYEON CHUNG: Yeah, start last year.

Q. Today was very hot. Temperatures were 35 degrees. Have you ever played in this temperature? Was there any difficulty to play like this?
HYEON CHUNG: I play lot of time in this weather in Asia. Always hot. It's okay this weather. I don't care about the weather.
