THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. What do the coaches stress the most in your prep for this game specifically?
JAYLON SMITH: Just a matter of execution, a physical mentality. Two Midwestern teams that are going to play very physical. It's going to be won in the trenches.
Q. Talk about the team's mission.
JAYLON SMITH: I mean, just to get a victory versus Ohio State. I think when it comes down to it, that's the most important thing for us, is getting a victory.
Q. People have been talking about the strength of Ohio State. What have you talked about to be able to get past what everyone else is saying?
JAYLON SMITH: Like as far as the game plan?
Q. Yes.
JAYLON SMITH: I mean, just recognizing their strengths, having a great run game. I think that sticks out the most. It's really just about playing great team defense.
Q. Do you think there's been respect between you guys or disrespect?
JAYLON SMITH: None of that matters to me. At the end of the day, it's going to be two teams playing on the field and the best team will win.
