AUGUSTA, GEORGIA
Q. (No Microphone.)
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: With that said, I have a lot of work left to do still.
Q. Four round under par for you. That's the first time you've done that at the Masters.
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I really played well this week and I'm happy with the way I played and so I have no complaints.
Q. Can you talk us through 13, where you got that eagle?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I hit my drive in the pine straw to the right, I had 211 to the pin, and I cut a 5‑iron in there. It was probably a 10‑footer, 11‑footer. And I was able to make it.
Q. Was that 5‑iron the shot of your tournament?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: It was one of them, yeah.
Q. In your mind, do you feel like you're a Masters champion of the future?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: I would really like to become a Masters champion some day.
Q. Can you give us some idea of what the response has been at home in Japan, as far as you know, this week?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: (No response.)
