PARADISE ISLAND, THE BAHAMAS
Q. Well, congratulations. How nervous were you heading into the playoff hole?
SEI YOUNG KIM: A little bit, not that much.
Q. Have you played in a playoff before in Korea or anywhere? Is that your first time?
SEI YOUNG KIM: KLPGA five times, so this is the sixth time in a playoff.
Q. Have you won any of those five?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Besides one, I've won all of them.
Q. So you've won four times in the past?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Five times now.
Q. Five times including today, okay. How much were you watching the leaderboard today? Were you watching it at all? I know you were making a run.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Just on the last hole.
Q. You didn't look at it until the last hole?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I didn't look until the last hole.
Q. Did you have a number in mind that you wanted to shoot today in the final round? Did you have a number at all?
SEI YOUNG KIM: 3‑under, yeah.
Q. How many years did you play on KLPGA?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Five years.
Q. In your rookie year, did you think you were going to get a win this year? Did you have a goal to win?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I have no idea.
Q. So this is a surprise?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, really surprise. My goal was top 10.
Q. Talk about the way you performed in the playoff.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Just before the last putt I was super nervous, but I'm fine.
Q. How did you make an adjustment to playing in the weather conditions here?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I have a lot of experience because it's really windy in Korea where I play.
Q. What does this mean to you?
SEI YOUNG KIM: I joined the LPGA in hopes of making the Korean Olympics team, and this is one step towards that, so this means a lot to me.
