Q. You are a player that always really plays well on Sundays, shot a 6-under today and finished with three birdies. Tell me about your round out there today and how it went.

AYAKA FURUE: I was able to concentrate really well today, and my shots were very good, too. I think that made my round for today.

Q. You have been playing well all week, but what clicked today? What really worked super well today that maybe wasn't clicking the last three days?

AYAKA FURUE: I think I was able to put the ball right to the pin. I think that went well today.

Q. Had a bogey there on the 13th, but after that bogey you made four birdies in your last five holes. Tell me what was going through your mind in the last five holes?

AYAKA FURUE: After the bogey I was trying to switch my mind to the next hole, and then I got a birdie. So I constantly needed to keep my concentration throughout the round.

Q. Pretty solid finish here. I know this is a tricky golf course. How proud are you of that finish at a place that really trips a lot of players up?

AYAKA FURUE: The poa annua grass was really tough for me, but I was able to concentrate and be able to play well on that grass.

Q. We have the International Crown next week. How excited are you to represent Japan and play for your country next week?

AYAKA FURUE: It's been a while to play as a representative of Japan, but I'm very excited, and yes, very excited.
