Q. What a way to finish your week here. Pretty solid day today. Got off to a really hot start. Talk about that eagle on 2.

ALISON LEE: Yeah, it was great. I started off the day really good, birdie-eagle. That's like a dream start on a final round Sunday being in contention. Yeah, I hit a great drive, hit a great second shot just right of the green and chipped in for eagle. Yeah, hot start. I kind of got a little cold over the next few holes and made a few dumb mistakes on the back, but that was my goal on the back nine, just try and play real aggressive because that's what I needed to do, just make a few more birdies.

Unfortunately it didn't go the way I wanted it to, but that's part of chasing, basically chasing to win. You've got to play aggressively and make some risks and take some chances.

Q. What does it mean to have this good of a finish in front of a hometown crowd for you?

ALISON LEE: It was awesome. Having my friends and family here, it means so much. Even at times when I'm a little nervous, just looking over and seeing my friends there really believing in me, that really adds a little more confidence to my game and a lot more comfort, as well. It was just nice to see some friendly faces in the crowd.

Q. What do you learn about yourself every time you're in this kind of situation? You've been in the mix quite a bit lately.

ALISON LEE: I feel like you learn so much, but sometimes even though you have all this information bottled up in your head, it sometimes doesn't go the way you want it to. It just has a mind of its own basically.

I've just got to keep trying to play good golf, keep knocking on the door, and hopefully have more good weeks.

Q. Where is the confidence level at right now? It's got to be pretty high.

ALISON LEE: Pretty high, especially after a round like today and a week like this week. We still have a long season left. This is the best finish I've had this season, and I've had a couple events where I was knocking on the door, too. Yeah, we've got a lot of tournaments left. Hopefully I can just keep doing what I did this week and hopefully one of these weeks I'll get lucky.
