BRIAN RODRIGUEZ: This was a highly important match for us where we wanted to come out with points. We had architecture moments and I felt extremely well on my individual work. I was able to get the two goals but I would have loved to finish off with the three points.

Q. It was a stirring game, and your performance, the eight minutes in which you got the two goals might have been the best we've seen from you in your time at LAFC. Bob said afterwards that he thought you were now open to certain advice on details that can help your game, and I'm wondering your thoughts on that and on the performance that you gave tonight.

BRIAN RODRIGUEZ: Yeah, I've been working very hard to get to this point. The team, the coaching staff, Bob, have given me all their support and that gives me confidence. I continue to work to improve and give it my all for the club which invested all their trust in me and I hope that we're able to continue from this.

Q. Do you think this was your best performance with LAFC?

BRIAN RODRIGUEZ: Yes.

Q. Do you feel like you needed the goal?

BRIAN RODRIGUEZ: Yeah, I don't know if you can say that I needed the goal but it does give a player a great amount of confidence. I feel the love for my former supporters in Peñarol, and also here from the 3252, so I was happy I was able to get that goal and continue from there.
